40 hour Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage workshop $1095

Gain a deeper understanding of the potential for healing, growth and transformation that the Hawaiian teachings offer. In this workshop you will learn and practice the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage.
You Will Learn:
-The history and philosophy surrounding this work including the practice of ho'oponopono, and its role in healing.
- Breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential.
- Basic and advanced Lomi Lomi massage techniques including a full body routine with stretching and range of motion techniques.
- Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body.
Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. Courses are kept small to ensure maximum individual attention to each student. There is space for 12 students in the class.
This workshop covers a great deal of hands-on technique and is designed as continuing education for professional massage therapists. It is not open to students without prior training in massage and anatomy, allowing professional therapists to get the most out of your continuing education investment.
Passing students earn a certificate for 40 NCBTMB CE hours in Lomilomi class earns 20 CPD points with the UK’s CThA and Australia’s AAMT and hours are approved for 35 regular and 1 business hour by the MTAS in Canada and affiliate member of Massage New Zealand.
The hours do not count toward the state of Hawaii basic 570 hour requirement for licensing.
Price is $1095 and includes 40 hours of training in Lomilomi
Course is held at Nori kohana massage academy class room in Kailua, Oahu and price includes the class only. Students are responsible for their own meals, accommodations and transportation to the class.
Masks will be required while indoors due to the close contact of trading massage. Students will pair up to give and receive hands on massage in this class.
The $200 deposit is not refundable or transferable
Cancellations more than 60 days prior to start of class(March 5 2023) will get a refund of tuition paid.
Cancellations less than 60 days (after March 5 2023) or no shows do not get a refund but may receive a partial credit toward a future class depending on the circumstances. For example a medical emergency or death in the family is a credit worthy excuse, proof is required to get credit.
To prevent the spread of Covid 19, if you tested positive for covid 19, have been exposed to someone with Covid 19 in the last 10 days, or if you are experiencing any type of flu or Covid like symptoms, please refrain from attending the class. You will have an opportunity to make up the class with this non-refundable amount in the coming class (Exact date TBD)
You will receive an email confirming your seat in the upcoming class after you make the payment. This email will include information on what to expect during the class as well as supplies you need to bring. You will also receive the payment link for the remaining balance of tuition due on April 22.
